Write For A Bright Future 3/13

3:00pm Thursday May 3rd, 2012

Writing is an adventure!

Every Thursday after school young writers who live or go to school in the immediate area join us in producing all kinds of creative writing as part of a project to create a Children’s Republic of Shoreditch.

We will be looking at the local area through the eyes of our young writers as they create stories, poems, comics, maps and games. Through this we hope to produce a series of playful adventure tours, which will be researched, tested and written by young people. Working with specially trained mentors, young writers will be supported through the creative process and have the chance to share their ideas and explore exciting ways of bringing their writing to life.

Write for a Bright future is open to young writers aged 8-13 who live or go to school in the immediate area. Enrol by visiting Hoxton Street Monster Supplies, or for more information e-mail us, or phone 0207 729 4159.

Please arrive promptly at the above time. The workshop runs from 3.00 – 5.30pm, including a compulsory briefing at the start and debrief at the end for volunteers.
