Museum of Childhood Treasures
An official announcement from the Children’s Republic of Shoreditch!
If you had one item that you would consider your greatest childhood treasure, what might it be? The children of the Republic are launching a Museum of Childhood Treasures, and would like you to be involved. So please consider sharing that treasured item with us!
It’s really simple–send a picture and a short description of your childhood treasure to republic@ministryofstories.org and it will become a part our Museum of Childhood Treasures Flickr set.
Here’s an example from the Ministry’s own, Lara Swansbury:
“I was given this badge when I became a ‘Junior Soldier’ in the Salvation Army church, aged 7. We had a special meeting and I made a promise that I meant from the bottom of my heart. I wore this badge every week for 8 years. I feel like it shines and winks at me with hundreds of warm and loving memories.”
