Intelligence Gathering
Inspiring a nation of storytellers takes a lot of work and we couldn’t do this without the passion and enthusiasm shown by our troops of dedicated volunteers.
Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed here and, to say thank you for your recent efforts, we invite you to our upcoming event Intelligence Gathering.
Salt from Tears
Greetings Ministers! Looks like those giddy kippers at Hoxton Street Monster Supplies have been at it again. Seems they’ve developed a rather novel technique to extract tears from humans suffering in various emotional states and from some curious physical conditions.
Hoxton A.M.
Right on schedule, our journalists have come up trumps. I’m delighted to report that the third edition of Hoxton A.M., a fine title produced by our young writers and creative volunteers, hit the press this week and thousands of copies are now circulating Hackney.
Habari from Nairobi
‘Habari’ means ‘What’s the News?’ in Swahili – and news is not the only thing being exchanged, troops!
A Marathon for the Ministry
A huge cheer for Andrew Williams, a 27 year old Media Researcher and avid runner, who has chosen the Ministry of Stories as his charity for the London Marathon.
Fundraising Volunteer Opportunity
Have you got the imagination and expertise needed to raise money for the Ministry? Like to gain fundraising experience and contribute to our expanding Development programme?
Calling all Newsbreakers
Five mornings. Twenty young journalists. Ten thousand readers. One amazing newspaper. Do something different with your bank holiday this April: volunteer to mentor young people to create their own newspaper.
Perfectly Preserve Your Mummy This Mother’s Day
Anyone who’s got a Mummy will know that its easy to take them for granted. But just because the Ancient Egyptian curse that keeps them animated is guaranteed for eternity, don’t think they couldn’t do with a bit of TLC from time to time.
