Creative Learning Internship
January 9, 2012
Are you efficient, energetic and full of imagination? Want to be part of developing a creative learning programme at the Ministry of Stories? This 6 month part time internship is an opportunity to be at the heart of our new venture, gain hands on experience and help make a real difference to the future of the MoS.
The role is focused on building our creative learning methodology, working directly with young people and building relationships and systems to help our new organisation go from strength to strength. We have an emerging programme of workshops and projects for young people, and as a integral part of the team you’ll be helping to develop this through a range of activities, from organising school workshops to working with volunteer artists and writers and facilitating workshops and mentoring yourself.
You will receive on-the-job mentoring and support from experienced educators and writers. You’ll gain a good understanding of the practical side of running workshops, programming and working with young people. The placement is for 24 hours a week for 6 months and paid at £863.20 per calendar month (London Living Wage). You must be available to work Saturday mornings.
