Help children and young people to write a brighter future for themselves by becoming a volunteer for the Ministry of Stories and/or Hoxton Street Monster Supplies.

We rely on around 30 volunteers per week to deliver our writing programme and run our shop. Our writing centre, school programmes and shop proudly serve a wonderful diverse community in east London.

We therefore particularly welcome volunteers who define themselves as:

• Black, Black British Caribbean and Black British African
• Asian and Asian British
• Turkish
• Mixed Ethnicity
• Young volunteers (under 25s) and elders (over 60)
• Volunteers from our local area (Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Islington)
• Family of current or former young writers (parent, siblings 18+, carer)
• Disabled
